Privacy Policy and Fair Play

The Privacy Act (Senior and Junior Club): 
Information from this form will be used by the Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club to compile a membership list, which may be used in the Annual Report to SLSNR or provided to sponsors.

By accepting this form you give consent for the name(s), address, telephone number(s) or any other information forming part of this membership list which may be published as in the above clause.

To the best of my ability I will: 
  • Play by the rules;

  • Never argue with a coach or official;

  • Work hard to do my best at all times;

  • Turn up to training regularly;

  • Be a good sport and recognise good players and good plays by all involved;

  • Remember to thank my coach, the officials, the opposition and the supporters;

  • Help others in my team when I can;

  • Avoid putting people down and bullying them;

  • Give it heaps but not get ugly. 

Sport.  We love it!  Playing Hard and Fair - Always.

Good sport is about positive attitudes.  You can set the right tone and help make the game a success.  Play your part - play fair!

To the best of my ability I will:

  • Encourage children in their efforts in sport;
  • Insist that my child plays within the rules and by the principles of FairPlay;
  • Treat my child the same regardless of whether she/he has won or lost;
  • Display self control on the sideline, always be positive, never shout or ridicule players;
  • Watch my child play and let him/her enjoy the game;
  • Show my appreciation to people who volunteer their time so my child can play;
  • Remember that my child plays sport for his/her reasons not mine;
  • Be a positive role model for my child;
  • Never place undue pressure on my child to play or perform;
  • Make an effort to understand the rules of the game;
  • Respect that people are involved in sport mostly for fun and enjoyment;
  • Support good play and applaud good performance from all competitors;
  • Accept the decision of the officials and coaches;
  • Remember that we are all capable of making mistakes;
