New programme
Dean Kent
has been appointed the new Head Coach of the Mairangi Bay Swim Programme. 
Dean will personally coach the morning sessions and will provide the programmes and mentor the coaches for the evening sessions.

Dean Kent represented New Zealand at both the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. He set the NZ Record for the 200m individual Medley (I.M.) and also NZ Record for the 400m I.M. He represented New Zealand at both the 2000 and 2004 Olympics. He won the silver medal for the 200m I.M. at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. The 2008 Beijing Olympics was the third Olympic Games he has represented New Zealand in.

PROGRAM OUTLINE
- Morning Sessions at either the Millennium or the beach (Tue) coached by Dean Kent.
- Tue and Thu nights at Milford Primary School, in Shakespeare Road, Milford.
  Outdoor heated 25 metre pool, 4 lanes.   NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN TERM1 for 2010               
- Mon Wed Fri Nights at the Millennium.  4 lanes 25m pool.
- The evening sessions will be coached by two of our own swimmers based on a programme written by Dean and each of the Coaches will be mentored by Dean

 Ocean Clinics
Future Dreams is again running 15x Saturday clinics including 5x Races for over 16s.
Each block of 3 sessions starts with a technical open water session, then a harder workout the next week followed by a 3.0k ocean race every 3rd Saturday. Sessions work out cheaply at $18 each  if you book into blocks for $55 (3x sessions)

Kids Clinics 

For the under 16s (ages 6 and up) Future Dreams is offering a great lead in to nipper training with ocean confidence and open water swimming techniques over 12x sessions.
